July 19 – Painting with Gouache

July 26 – Painting with Oils
Nervous about oils? Don’t be. Neil is not only a master oil painter—he’s also a generous and approachable teacher. This class demystifies the medium, making oil painting accessible, fun, and approachable for all levels.
August 2 – Scratchboard Illustration
What is scratchboard? Come find out! This unique medium offers bold, high-contrast images with a tactile process that’s super satisfying. You’ll learn how to build textures and light through subtraction—and leave with a finished piece.
August 9 – Mixed Media Painting
Combine paint, ink, collage, and more to create a one-of-a-kind mixed media piece. Neil shares techniques for layering, composition, and combining materials in unexpected and playful ways. All levels welcome—experimentation encouraged!
