Neil.Pizza graduated from Ringling College of Art in 2009, with a BFA in Illustration. He lived in The Bay Area working as a Sign Painter from 2009 - 2013, shadowing Doc Guthrie, learning the ropes of Typography, and teaching himself Graphic Design with Whole Foods Market. In 2012 he started running ultramarathons and tried his hand at freelance for the first time.
Becoming well known in the country for Data Visualization, Neil was offered a position with Room 214, in Boulder, CO — as an 'Interactive Designer.' He visited Boulder during The 100 Year Floods and fell in love with this community (later starting his company Local* LLC). Since 2013, Neil has worked with countless Boulder startups, agencies, and small businesses, helping hundreds of clients and partners find lasting success.
Neil.Pizza is a born Artist. Neil's imagination is endless. His drive to create, ruthless. After losing his sister to Cancer is 2022, he focused his Painting Practice on "A Body For a Body," walking away from the shadows of "Design is for everyone, Painting is for me," to share his Art after taking nearly a decade off of the Gallery scene.
