Diana Wright

Diana Wright is a contemporary impressionist landscape painter based in Boulder, CO. She works primarily in oils, but enjoys other media like watercolor as well. Diana is drawn to landscapes because she feels happiest, most connected and at peace when in nature. Part of her process is leaving room to play with abstraction, movement, texture and color. When she starts a painting, she lets it evolve organically without a defined outcome.

While art has always been part of her life, Diana is mostly self taught. For the last ten years, she studied and worked as a software engineer. In early 2025, she made the decision to pursue her art full time — a major shift to honor her wellbeing and intuitive, feminine side. She continues to develop her practice and artistic style, with the goal of sharing the joy and peace of nature with others.
